Leaving a legacy to Pocklington School is possibly the greatest gift you can make to the School, helping to shape the lives of future generations of Old Pocklingtonians and providing significant benefit to the community and campus.

Since its foundation in 1514, Pocklington School has benefitted enormously from the generosity of its alumni and its wider community: past parents, colleagues, and others who have remembered our school in their wills.
Making a bequest is simple to do, although we do recommend seeking professional legal advice. A legacy can either be included in a new will or added as a codicil to an existing will. It will be free from inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
If you are willing to let us know that you have included, or intend to include, Pocklington School in your Will, we will invite you to join the 1514 Club.
